# How Dubsheet checks a voice tool

What a listing answers, where each answer comes from and how the lists are ordered.

## What a listing answers

What the tool does with a script, its voices and languages, whether you may publish the audio and what it costs, each answer quoted from the vendor’s own page.

## Order

**Featured** places come first, labelled. Then each category is ordered by what the vendor’s pages confirm: a public price, the right to publish, an API with docs and stated limits. Paying never moves a tool in that order.

## Not for sale

A payment can’t buy a rank, a score or a verdict. Paid places carry a **Featured** label. The rules are in our [editorial policy](https://dubsheet.com/editorial-policy#not-for-sale).

## Keeping it current

We read each vendor’s pricing page again and update the listing when it changes. Makers correct their listing from their [dashboard](https://dubsheet.com/dashboard).
